Type 1 Diabetes
Posted by: | CommentsType I diabetes is also known as insulin-dependent diabetes or juvenile diabetes. This form of diabetes is mainly found in children. The primary problem in all forms of diabetes, regardless if it is Type I or Type II is that the glucose (sugar) levels of the body are too high.
In a healthy person, the beta cells in the pancreas produce a hormone called insulin in response to sugar in the blood. The sugar gets there through the food and drinks we consume. Normally, the insulin helps to move the sugar from the bloodstream and into the cells of the body where it can be used for cellular processes. The insulin triggers gates located in the membranes of the cells to open, allowing the sugar to flow in.
Reflexology therapy
Posted by: | CommentsReflexology therapy, (an ancient art practiced by early Egyptians), is also a science founded on the basis that areas of the feet, hands and ears are comprised of zones and reflex areas that correspond to all glands, organs, and bodily systems.
Reflexology therapy is a technique whereby pressure is applied to these areas resulting in stress reduction by using thumb, finger and hand methods. Using reflexology therapy promotes physiological improvements in the body.
Reflexology therapy is the correspondence of the reflexes in the feet and hands to the organs and all parts of the body. Stimulating these reflexes with this unique technique can promote the body’s own healing potential to promote better health. Reflexology therapy is primarily used for relaxing tension.
Positive Attitude Is Not Enough
Posted by: | CommentsContrary to the popular saying “attitude is everything” attittude is not enough. You can have the right attitude and all the motivation in the world and still wind up playing “dead atheist.”
You know, all dressed up and nowhere to go!
The key is that the right attitude must be followed by the right actions. That’s the bottom line of the doing part you mentioned in your question.
Renowned motivational expert Anthony Robbins says that one of the keys to success is to “take action.” In his work with getting people to take action, Robbins speaks often of “massive, intelligent action.”
Getting Organized For New Year
Posted by: | CommentsThe following procedures will insure an organized and well run office.
1. Have a daily To Do sheet. This is made up at the end of the day. You might have items left over from the previous day, put those items first and work from there. If you make deposits on a daily basis, add them to the list. Plan to file at the end of the day or before/after lunch breaks. Doing this daily will avoid the “pile syndrome”. This list should also include any marketing strategies you employ. This will insure you set time aside to implement them.
Being Other Focused
Posted by: | CommentsIt is about caring.
About being focused on others.
It is a lesson for all leaders.
Lavin shares a story about an appearance the President was making at an Alabama school for handicapped children. The event was going super well, until one of the children with a severe speech impediment asked a question of the President. No one in the audience could understand and the room became tense. The President asked him to repeat the question, and the energy in the room was further dampened. Again, no one understood.

Taking Care of Sensitive Teeth
Posted by: | CommentsAs millions of people all around the world know, sensitive teeth can make life in general a nightmare. Sensitive teeth comes with pain and discomfort that can make eating or drinking your favorite foods a painful experience. Although you may suffer from sensitive teeth, you can rest assured that they can be treated.
Normally, this condition presents tooth pain after drinking cold liquid, eating hot or cold foods, or breathing cold air. If the pain becomes too much to bear, you should immediately see your dentist, as the nerve of your tooth could be exposed. Normally, sensitive teeth starts when the gums begin to pull away from the teeth. With the gums being a protective blanket, they cover and protect the teeth’s roots. When the gums recede and pull away, the roots have no protection, and therefore they will be exposed.

Except for controlled substances, you can get most anything you want or need simply by asking.
This is astoundingly advantageous. Just think of it. You don’t necessarily have to pay a doctor’s office fee to get a prescription that you already know that you need. Let me qualify this statement.
