Here’s To Your Success
Posted by: | CommentsQ: When it comes to succeeding in business, which do you think is more important: education or experience?
– Regina M.
A: Regina, have you seen the television show, Fear Factor? If you haven’t seen it you’ve probably heard about it. Fear Factor is the show where they put contestants through all sorts of pseudo-death defying feats like bungee jumping off a bridge over a pool of crocodiles and driving a car through a wall of fire (you know, the stuff we did for fun in high school).
The ABC’s Of A Great Life – ‘U’ Is For Unity
Posted by: | CommentsDespite society’s seeming obsession with competition and one-upmanship, the raw and sometimes hard-to-live-up-to truth is that our planet is a closed system – there is no actual “away” to throw things, no true “other” to be afraid of and no possible difference between the suffering of one and the suffering of all, even if that isn’t apparent at first glance.
As many spiritual and religious teachers instruct, we are all one with our brothers and sisters, and we are all brothers and sisters. Just as you can’t sanely or healthily cut off one finger to “leave more stuff” for the rest of the hand, neither can you pollute, exploit, undermine or hurt one part of earth, one population of people or one species of life without it eventually coming back to hurt us all.
The ABC’s Of A Great Life – ‘S’ Is For Success
Posted by: | CommentsDespite some strange pseudo-spiritual grumblings to the contrary, there is nothing wrong with success. In fact, most religious and spiritual teachings flat out promise their followers success in one form or another as a matter of course. Of course, there is the matter of how you define success, for the trappings of traditional success often come at the expense of our spirit, our humanity and our integrity. But that need not be the case, if we are willing to invest a little time, energy and conscious thought into the process.
Banks And Money
Posted by: | CommentsBasic Functions of Banking
The basic functions of banking are:
- The collection of funds from the public.
- The safeguarding of those funds.
- The transfer of those funds from one person to another without their leaving the bank (this is done by means of cheques or automatic transfer through the banking system, or via the Internet etc)
- The lending of that money to other parties for a return or reward called interest.
Loans made by a bank are based on the amount of funds held by the bank at any time, after taking into account sums that must be held in reserve in case the owners of the funds require them from time to time.
Enhancing Your Performance
Posted by: | CommentsWhen you think about the most successful, happy, fulfilled people you know, you could probably identify some characteristics these people have in common. If we were sitting together, I’m sure we could build a nice list of these characteristics, attributes, habits and attitudes.
Several years ago, when thinking about that question, I identified several things that those people shared that I wanted to incorporate into my habits more consistently. These things have made and continue to make a difference for my own personal and professional development.
One Man Power
Posted by: | CommentsEvery successful concern is the result of a One-Man Power. Cooperation, technically, is an iridescent dream things cooperate because the man makes them. He cements them by his will.
But find this Man, and get his confidence, and his weary eyes will look into yours and the cry of his heart shall echo in your ears. “O, for some one to help me bear this burden!”
Then he will tell you of his endless search for Ability, and of his continual disappointments and thwartings in trying to get some one to help himself by helping him.
Know More About Affliate Marketing
Posted by: | CommentsAffiliate marketing has many descriptions, yet all have the same meaning. Affiliate marketing is a huge business piece on the Internet. It is a cooperative effort between merchants and an affiliate’s website. For many years now, affiliate marketing has proved to be a cost-efficient, measurable method of delivering long-tern results. It has become famous for Internet sites who are trying to make some extra or additional income for their site. Every day, people get interested to affiliate marketing and want to make money out of it. But in many cases, these new affiliates do not fully understand the affiliate world and make costly mistakes. In other words, affiliate marketing has often been misunderstood.

The Guide To Being A Leader
Posted by: | CommentsSo you want to be a leader? Or you want to be a better leader? It can be done, you know. No matter where you are in your leadership journey, you CAN move forward. You CAN lead better. You CAN lead more people. You CAN lead your organization to higher ground.
Yes, you CAN!
But let me tell you this: You won’t do it via osmosis! It won’t just “happen.” Growing in your leadership is not something that comes from the fairy godmother of leadership. You can’t touch the hem of Jack Welch’s garment and become “Super-Leader!” Oh, that it were that easy!
