Credit card debt doesn’t shy away from anyone who doesn’t want to shy away from it. It treats everyone equally irrespective of whether the person is a seasoned professional or just a college student. So college student credit card debt isn’t uncommon either. Since the credit limit on college student credit cards is much lower, the college student credit card debt cannot rise to the levels it does for other credit cards. However, college student credit card debt is an even bigger menace because a lot of students are already in debt due to the loan they have taken for their education. If they pass out of college with college student credit card debt, they will have to payback not just the loan they taken for studies but also their college student credit card debt.

Blogging 101

Posted by: | Comments (0)

If writing is an art, then, blogging is one way of using words to come up with an art. This is because people who are into blogging are the ones who are artistic on their own sense, carefully choosing words that would best describe their feelings, sentiments, wishes, desires, and everything.

Basically, blogs were first introduced as weblogs that refer to a “server’s log file.” It was created when web logging hit the virtual market. Since its inception in the mid-1990s, web logging gradually saturated the virtual community making the Internet a viable source of greater information.

You probably spend a great deal of your time looking for new
customers or clients. However, are you sure your doing
enough to hold onto the ones you’ve got. One of the least
costly ways to grow your business is to get customers to
come back and buy more of your product or service.

How many customers have you lost this month? I’m sure it’s
not something you want to think about too much, however it’s
inevitable that you’ll lose customers and clients for a
whole range of reasons many of which are out with your

Increasing Sales

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Here’s the steps to increasing sales:

  1. Qualify Your Prospect – Maximizing your time is important, so the faster you can determine if you’ve got a potential customer the better.  Determine who the “Decision Maker” is, do you have a good rapport with him/her, is their a problem you can solve or do they know there’s a problem?  You may have the greatest hammer in the world, but if all this prospect uses is screws – you can’t sell your product.

What customers really want can be divided into two areas.

Firstly – they want the core service of your business to
meet their needs. They expect your product or service to
work.
If you say you’re a plumber, then the customer expects you
to fix their leaking pipe. If you say you’re an accountant,
then they expect you to resolve their tax details.

They also expect your product or service to represent value
for money.
If I buy an expensive pair of winter boots I expect them to
keep out the cold and wet and also look good. Naturally if I
was to buy a cheaper pair I wouldn’t expect them to last as
long.

If I was a fly on the wall what would I hear your employees say? Would it something like this? “They won’t allow me to make even the simplest decisions.” “The red tape here makes it very difficult for me to do my job.” “Management has to sign off on everything; they don’t trust me.”

A big time waster for managers is micro-managing – paying extreme attention to small details and not giving people the authority to do their job. If it is such a time waster why do so many managers get hooked into micro-managing? Here are some reasons.

Why give freebies?

We have all seen freebies at trade shows and we have all probably seen the person that goes from booth to booth collecting as much of it as possible. There is always someone that only goes to get the free stuff, but then again there are also people that go there to learn about new products or services. These people may be genuinely interested in what you have to say. Even if they are, there must be an element of what is in it for them (we call them WIFM – pronounced Whiffem – What Is In It For Me).Perhaps the type of freebie you offer should be in the form of a free consultation for a limited time, say one-half hour. Or you may want to give out special premiums to potential new clients. The problem is that you need to weed through the potential business and those that just want something for nothing.
