Why Is It Important To Improve Yourself
August 29, 2008
Sometimes, when all our doubts, fears and insecurities wrap ourselves up, we always come up with the idea of “I wish I was somebody else.” More often than not, we think and believe that someone or rather, most people are better than us.- when in reality, the fact is, most people are more scared than us.
Your Dream can be Your Future
August 15, 2008
Here is a basic truth you must accept and believe if you are to achieve your
dream…
Your dream can be a reality! That’s right, your future can actually see you
living your dream. It doesn’t just have to be a big wish!
When we are young we are dreamers. Nothing seems too big for us to
accomplish. Nothing seems too outrageous. The world is ours on a string as
the old song goes. Until…
“Reality” hits. Reality is what others want to box you in with:
“You can’t do that.” “Nobody has ever done that before.” “It will never
work.” “You’ve gone off the deep end now!”
How to Achieve Financial Freedom and Success
August 11, 2008
Many people want to become successful and financially free, but not very many of them are willing to pay the price of their success and freedom. I have talked to a lot of millionaires and listened to their wisdom. Most millionaires have clear written goals in their life. They understand that when there is no target or goal, it will be very hard to aim at a target or a goal that doesn’t exist. They are where they are today because they were willing to pay the price of their freedom. They also understand the power of charity. A generous and giving heart brings prosperity and wealthy
Unleash Your Potential
August 11, 2008
On airplanes, in restaurants, in the newspaper and on television, I often hear people saying their businesses are not growing to their satisfaction or that they are not reaching their objectives. The explanations that follow consist of reasons like:
• It’s the economy
• Our customers don’t get it
• I don’t have the right people on the team
I could go on, and so could you.I think that is all a bunch of hogwash.People (both those doing the talking, and those they are talking about) are not all they can be. The organization is not all it can be. Both have tremendous untapped potential sitting there, waiting to be recognized and tapped. Both have potential waiting to be unleashed.
Attitude Is Everything
July 10, 2008
The process of human change begins within us. We all have tremendous potential. We all desire good results from our efforts. Most of us are willing to work hard and to pay the price that success and happiness demand.
Each of us has the ability to put our unique human potential into action and to acquire a desired result. But the one thing that determines the level of our potential, that produces the intensity of our activity, and predicts the quality of the result we receive is our attitude.
Dare To Dream Again
June 23, 2008
Do you remember when you were a child and no dream seemed too big? Some of us thought we would walk on the moon; some dreamed of riding with Roy Rogers; others imagined stepping to the plate in a big-league game. Every one of us, when we were young, had a common trait - we were dreamers. The world hadn’t gotten to us yet to show us that we couldn’t possibly achieve what our hearts longed for. And we were yet still years from realizing that in some cases we weren’t built for achieving our dream (I realized about my junior year of high school that I was too short and to slow to play professional basketball. The dreamer is always the last to know).
Create Your Own Self- Esteem
May 18, 2008
Self-esteem is something that we all wish we had more of. Some of us go through our entire life feeling “self-esteem deficient”. The constraints placed on us by low self esteem can feel so impenetrable that we find ourselves shrinking back from our dreams and accepting something less than desirable. This often results in feelings of emptiness, sadness, deprivation and a life not fully lived.
Whati Is Happiness
April 23, 2008
What is it that everyone is seeking? Happiness with no sorrow. A continuous happiness with no taint whatsoever of sorrow.~Lester Levenson
Happiness is our basic nature.
We rarely find it because we are not in touch with our basic nature. Instead we look for happiness everywhere where it doesn’t exist.
The world equates happiness with fulfilling a desire. Yet every goal achieved and every possession finally owned is a fleeting pleasure.
I do appreciate what I have. Yes, I am grateful for it. However, satisfaction and pleasure are not the same as happiness.
A Dollar And Some Ambition
February 17, 2008
Capital in your business isn’t what matters. It isn’t the money that buys you a future; it’s your skills that buy you a future. Money and no skills, I’m telling you, you are still poor. Money and no ambition, where are you? Money and no courage, you’re broke. A little bit of money and a whole lot of courage is all we need.
Don’t Stop Asking So Many Questions
February 16, 2008
A few weeks ago I took my boy on a trip that we make together every year. We left the house at 6 am on Monday and got home at 9 pm on Thursday. That is just 87 hours. However, that is 84,293 questions!
I mean, ten-year-old kids can ask questions! They are question machines! It was a virtual question-palooza! He wanted to know why we got up so early, why we chose that airline, when we would get there, what things meant in the books we were reading, how they got the jelly filling in the donuts, and on…. and on…. and on…. For four days!! Even my friend who drove us to the airport told my wife later that he asks a lot of questions, even at 6 am! Anyway, you get the point.
