Practice Good Working Skills

Posted by: Chris D'Cruz | Comments (0)

Such an innocuous little phrase, yet when you are hard at work, really focused and engrossed in what you are doing this seemingly harmless request can be a nightmare distraction.

“The average American has 50 interruptions a day, of which 70% have nothing to do with work” W. Edwards Deming

Interruptions are on of the main time stealers that get in the way of productivity. Whether it is phone, email or person generated, have you got a minute? can really break your concentration, affect your mood and make you feel irritated and frustrated.

How To Organize Your Day

Posted by: Chris D'Cruz | Comments (0)

One of the hardest things for most individuals working from home is to stay focused. One of the best ways to stay focused is organization. In addition, being organized will help your time management skills. The two are very much intertwined.

Planning out your day is very important. What you will do in the morning, afternoon/and or evening, depending on what hours you work is paramount.

Have a trigger that starts your day. For example, my trigger is I finish my morning walk. Once this is done, I make a cup of Java and to the office I go.

Improvisitional

Why are we trying so hard? It is like we are in a race to get somewhere and we don’t even know where that is anymore. We have lost contact with spirit and the purpose we have given our lives and we are going around in circles chasing our tails.

I know better and yet I must catch myself from time to time and ask myself-why? The harder I try the less effective I am in manifesting what I desire. In the moment that I give into the system and stop trying to control it, the easier it gets.

How many times have you caught yourself saying that there could be no other solution to a problem – and that that problem leads to a dead end? How many times have you felt stumped knowing that the problem laying before you is one you cannot solve. No leads. No options. No solutions.

Did it feel like you had exhausted all possible options and yet are still before the mountain – large, unconquerable, and impregnable? When encountering such enormous problems, you may feel like you’re hammering against a steel mountain. The pressure of having to solve such a problem may be overwhelming.

You know, whenever you are going to make a major change and begin to undergo a different lifestyle, it is probably good to make a massive move in that direction. Think about it. As the old saying goes, “If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you have always got!” So if you keep on living the way you are living, you will keep right on with the life that in many ways you wish was changing! So how do you change your life? You change what you are doing!

Can You Increase You Brain Power

Posted by: Chris D'Cruz | Comments (0)

What Do You Think?
Can you solve problems easily? Can you learn new things efficiently? Can you increase your brain power? Whatever you think and feel about these questions, those thoughts and feelings will have an effect on your brain function, because brain power and psychology are intimately connected.
Expectation
Checkmate in four moves, the book said, so I looked until I found it. I love chess puzzles, and I used to think those elegant solutions were not often possible in real games. Then it occurred to me that they probably are there, but that without the expectation of finding them, I settled for less worthy moves. I find the elegant ones more often now.A man I know spent his childhood with wealthy kids and their families. Is it coincidence that he now makes more money than most of us? Did his rich friends give him money? Did they help him in business? No, no, and no. He simply feels that a certain level of income is normal, and his mind will always push him towards that level.

Inner Healing of Hidden self

Posted by: Chris D'Cruz | Comments (0)

We all need to seek a higher awareness of self in our lives although we may not know this initially. In the search for success in our lives, we aim to achieve fame and fortune and without inner healing and a better awareness of self not all this is possible. It is crucial that we are able to develop a better self-perception and awareness and then we are able to face the world. All this is possible only through the process of self-healing and nurturing of the inner self. We need to move away from uncontrolled emotion and take on the action of a controlled life. We must have control of our mind, body and spirit and this will mean healing all these aspects of self and using them to the achievement of fulfillment.

American driver spend on average about 15 hours in their car each and every week. With busy hectic schedules, our cars are quickly becoming our home on wheels, so it should be as no surprise that our cars can easily become infested with clutter. And just as we have a system in place at home, so should we in our car. An organized car keeps distractions at bay and essential items within easy reach.

Visor CD holders and passenger seat organizers are great items to have to keep your life in the front seat calm, cool and collected at all times. Each of these organizing tools keeps important items within easy reach, such as your water bottle, toll money, or map.

Sometimes, when all our doubts, fears and insecurities wrap ourselves up, we always come up with the idea of “I wish I was somebody else.” More often than not, we think and believe that someone or rather, most people are better than us.- when in reality, the fact is, most people are more scared than us.
